Andy Youn is a Korean Canadian cinematographer & gaffer currently working in the city of Toronto. Chasing & augmenting light for the purpose of story has been his driving passion in the field of image making. He has shot & lit music videos, narrative films, documentaries & commercials.
Intro
Hi,
I’m looking to work / connect with a diverse community of film-makers to tell important stories of varying capacities in the form of moving images. I’m currently slated to lens a WW2 romance short film called, “The Promise” releasing in 2021, and shooting a docu-series called, “MOVE” on indigenous dance & global forms of dance.
As a result of my love for lighting, I have also focused on gaffing and had many opportunities to light for very talented cinematographers in the community on a multitude of projects, all varying in scale.
