Bio

I’m a young first-generation Afro-Latin filmmaker, and I’ve been in and around the film industry for the past 5 years. I’ve been developing my craft as a writer for the past ten years, and Creative Directing / Directing for the past 5.

I am a woman of many talents but I predominantly have a background in writing, directing, and Creative Direction, having worked on various projects in and outside of my program at York University.

Through these mediums, I’ve been able to explore the various ways my culture and upbringing intersect, and through that, create worlds that oftentimes resemble the spirit of my own.

Intro

Amplifying new voices and perspectives through film is what makes it incredibly nourishing to me and ultimately what makes it rewarding. Joining this space I’d like to work toward fostering more relationships with other racialized artists, who are interested in collaborative working or writing.
