Bio

Dina is a Toronto-based cinematographer with roots in the Middle East who is inspired by narratives created by and for underrepresented voices. Her work has screened to audiences across festivals including the Whistler Film Festival, Vancouver Latin American Film Festival, Cinequest San Jose Film Festival and the Green Bay Film Festival. Dina earned her BFA in Film Production from the University of British Columbia and has supported hundreds of crews prep as the gear and operations supervisor at the world renowned Clairmont Camera. She is currently first AC on the feature film SCARBOROUGH, based on the award-winning novel by Catherine Hernandez and is the Director of Photography on the feature, TOE THE LINE.
