Bio

Born and raised in Queretaro, Mexico, Fabiola has lived in Vancouver, New York, and Toronto. She holds an MA in Film Studies from York University and has worked on productions in countries around the world such as Japan, Thailand, Egypt, Russia, and Peru. As an editor, she has cut films both big and small, including dramatic shorts, web-series, MOWs, and independent features. Her previous work has screened at prestigious venues such as TIFF, the Moscow Biennale, and the Cannes Film Festival. She currently lives in Toronto and recently completed the indie feature, “Cosmic Dawn”. Fabiola enjoys spicy food, travel to far-flung places, and the films of Luis Buñuel.
