- Pitch a Project: Welcome to Canada is a half hour teen dramedy about 14 year old Jamique Smith who reluctantly migrated to Canada to live with her estranged father and his family. Drama and hilarity ensues as she tries to adjust to her new family culture and country.

Bio
I taught high school in Jamaica for a number of years . I have written a number of skits and poems for performances in my native country. Recently I decided to move to Canada to do what I have always wanted to do ,which is writing and creating content for television. I recently completed a diploma in Children’s Media Production at Centennial College. I am now writing scripts for a digital preschool show in development and working on developing my own content.
Intro
I weave tales that capture the imagination through relatable characters who occupy vivid universes. I believe in creating relatable diverse characters, especially for children, that allows them to see themselves reflected on screen.
