Bio
Li Xiaolong is a Chinese Canadian director, writer and actor, founder of Little Dragon Film Productions. Li started writing, directing and performing skits since grade 11. Back in university, she co-founded an on-campus comedy club. She is known for her comedic acting and film directing. She has previously directed and produced comedy films such as “Sweet Tofu”,”Biggest Winner”, “How to Calm Her down”, “Angry Bride” and “The Call”. Her films were selected and nominated at various film festivals.
Intro
Hi everyone,
My name is Li Xiaolong and I am a independent filmmaker. I loved acting so much and I wanted to be in the story I wrote myself. That’s when I made my first short film- Biggest Winner, which was selected by multiple film festivals and was nominated for “Best Picture” at TAPfest. Since then I have directed and produced a few short films. I love comedy which most of my films are. They say making a comedy is hard, but to me making a comedy film is most enjoyable thing ever. I recently made a short comedy called “Sweet Tofu”. I hope one day I could produce a TV/ web series based on this little sweet story I wrote.
