Bio

Nada El-Omari holds a BFA in Film Production from York University. She is currently based in Toronto working between Toronto, Montreal and Palestine as an assistant director and writer. Her own work includes experimental films and hybrid documentaries. Of Palestinian and Egyptian origin and raised in Montreal, Quebec, her research and film production interests include the intergenerational transmissions of memories, post-memory, displacement and the stories of identity.
